REACH stands for Registration, Evaluation, Authorization, and Restriction of Chemicals. REACH is a regulation that was implemented by the European Union in 2007. It requires all manufacturers and importers of chemical substances to register their products with the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA).

- Registration
All chemical substances whose annual production or import volume exceeds 1 ton need to be registered, and chemical substances whose annual production or import volume exceeds 10 tons should also submit a chemical safety report. - Evaluation
Including file evaluation and substance evaluation. File evaluation is to verify the completeness and consistency of the registration dossier submitted by the enterprise. Substance evaluation is to confirm the risk of chemical substances endangering human health and the environment. - Authorization
Authorization is given for the production and import of chemical substances with certain hazardous characteristics that are highly valued by people, including CMR, PBT, vPvB, and so on. - Restriction
The EU will restrict the production or import of a substance if its use would result in risks to human health and the environment that cannot be adequately controlled.
