GTG Group, a China leading global provider of testing and certification services, and KTC, a national certification body in Korea, announced a new alliance that will enable both organizations to expand one-stop testing and certification services for electronics and electrical components, equipment and products, providing their customers access to global markets. Ms. Deng, CEO of GTG Group and Mr. Kaphong Choi, President of KTC, officially marked the occasion by signing a memorandum of cooperation (MoC).
“Our new alliance with KTC will benefit both of our clients by providing a simpler, more efficient process,” said Amanda Deng, CEO, GTG Group. “Together we can offer local testing and certification services to access North American and South Korean markets, opening up new opportunities for both our clients.”
Through the proposed alliance, KTC will test a wide range of electrical and electronic products in its state-of-the-art facilities, to the applicable China standards, offering clients access to China markets. Eligible Korean manufacturers wishing to export to China markets would be able gain the globally recognized CB certification based on testing carried out locally at GTG Group laboratories. In turn, qualified GTG Group laboratories would provide global customers testing and certification to Korean standards and access to the KC marks. This will benefit existing and future GTG Group and KTC customers by reducing travel time and costs associated with testing samples, and will provide a more streamlined process for testing and certification for both markets.

This new alliance with GTG Group will reduce duplicate testing and provide our clients easier access to key markets.”
The IECEE CB Scheme an international system for mutual acceptance of test reports and certificates dealing with the safety of electrical and electronic components, equipment and products. Its objective is to encourage trade by promoting harmonization of the national standards with international standards. By forming this alliance, GTG Group and KTC are providing an easier process for manufacturers and helping to facilitate international trade.
