1. GS mark
The GS mark stands for "Geprüfte Sicherheit," which translates to "tested safety" in English. The mark is recognized throughout Europe and is a symbol of quality and safety. The GS mark is not mandatory in Germany, but it is highly recommended. Many German manufacturers choose to have their products certified with the GS mark as a way of demonstrating their commitment to quality and safety. In addition, some retailers may require products to have the GS mark before they will stock them.
