ETL stands for Electrical Testing Laboratories, founded by Thomas Edison in 1896 and recognized by Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) as a NRTL (Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory). With over 100 years of experience, the ETL certification has been widely recognized and enjoys the same high reputation as Underwriters Laboratories (UL). More and more consumers recognize it on products they purchase as a symbol of safety.
Global Fortune 100 companies including General Electric, HP, Hitatchi, IBM, LG, Panasonic, Samsung, Siemens, and Sony rely on Intertek and the ETL certification to get products tested and certified. The Mark is also accepted at all major North American retailers, including The Home

- Request a free quote from GTG Group and settle the payment;

- Send the documentation and the test sample(s) to our laboratory;

- Once the test have passed, you will receive a notice of authorization to apply the UL mark (NOA) / notice of completion (NOC);
- NOA can ship directly with the UL Mark while NOC needs to complete the initial factory inspection before shipping with the UL Mark.

Factory inspection is required before issuing ETL certification, and there will be an irregular follow-up factory inspection quarterly. You will need to pay for the factory inspection fee and quarterly license fees.
