1. CE marking
CE stands for Conformité Européene, which is French for European Conformity. It's a mandatory marking required by the European Union (EU) for various products sold within its member countries. CE marking is not limited to EU manufacturers; it also applies to products imported from outside the EU. Importers must ensure that the products they import comply with EU requirements and carry the CE marking before selling them within the EU.
