- Fill out the application form;
- Send the documentation and the test sample(s) to our laboratory;
- Perform tests;
- Factory inspection;
- Conformity assessment;
- A CQC certificate will be issued after approval.
The CQC certification is valid for 5 years. After 5 years, the product must be re-certified.
4. Factory inspection
- Factory inspection is required within 3 months after obtaining the CCC certificate. Grade C or grade D factory needs to be inspected first before obtaining the CCC certificate.
- Generally, the initial factory inspection shall be conducted after the type approval test is passed. However, type approval test and the initial factory inspection can be carried out simultaneously on requested.
- Inspection content: factory quality assurance capabilities and product consistency
- Factory quality assurance capability are inspected under “Factory Quality Assurance Capability Requirements” and “Factory Inspection Record Sheet” issued by CQC;
- Product consistency:
a. Check if the certified product’s nameplate is the same with type approval test report indicated;
b. Check if the certified product’s structure is the same with the type approval test samples;
c. Check if the certified product’s important parts/components are the same with “list of important parts/components” in type approval test report;
d. On-site inspection according to the “Routine Inspection Items and Confirmation Inspection Items Sheet”;
