1. PAHs certification
Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) are a group of organic compounds with two or more benzene rings. PAHs are hydrocarbons containing more than two benzene rings in the molecule, including naphthalene, anthracene, phenanthrene, pyrene and other 150 kinds of compounds, of which 15 kinds belong to PAHs. Due to the fact that benzoapyrene is the first environmental chemical carcinogen discovered and has strong carcinogenicity, so benzoapyrene is often used as a representative of PAHs, accounting for 1%-20% of all carcinogenic PAHs. PAHs certification can be obtained through a variety of certification bodies. These bodies typically have their own testing laboratories or work with third-party laboratories to conduct the testing. The certification body will provide a certificate of compliance if the product passes the PAHs testing.
