This milestone was celebrated during a ceremony on July 5 at Coway’s headquarters in G Tower, Guro-gu, Seoul, with the presence of Seo Jang-won, CEO of Coway, and Jung Ryun, CEO of UL Solutions Korea.
UL Solutions stands out as a key player in the formulation and certification of standards for electrical and electronic products in the United States. Endorsed by the Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL) and the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) National Accreditation Board (ANAB), UL Solutions identifies and accredits laboratories capable of performing critical safety standard tests for products destined for the U.S. and North American markets.
“The recognition as a UL Solutions designated testing laboratory has enhanced our quality reliability and improved the efficiency of obtaining certifications for products exported to the U.S. and North America. This accreditation not only validates Coway’s international standing in testing and analysis but also reinforces its credibility and expertise in evaluating product performance. Coway’s Quality Management Division has also been recognized for its testing and analysis capabilities, including recognition from the U.S. CEC Energy Testing Laboratory, European NEMKO Testing Laboratory, KOLAS Accredited Testing Laboratory, and KTL KC Manufacturer Testing Laboratory.
