UL stands for Underwriter Laboratories, was founded in 1894 and is one of the world’s leading product safety testing and certification organizations, as well as one of the most authoritative safety certification organizations in North America and around the world.
UL certification is mandatory for some products sold on Amazon.com.

- Once the test have passed, you will receive a notice of authorization to apply the UL mark (NOA) / notice of completion (NOC);
- NOA can ship directly with the UL Mark while NOC needs to complete the initial factory inspection before shipping with the UL Mark.
