FCC certification is a process by which the FCC grants permission to manufacturers, importers, or marketers of electronic devices to market and sell their products in the United States. The FCC certification process is designed to ensure that electronic devices comply with the agency’s technical standards for RF emissions and do not interfere with other electronic devices.

Who needs FCC certification?

If you are planning to manufacture, import, market, or sell electronic devices that emit RF energy, you may be required to get FCC certification. Examples of such devices include cell phones, Wi-Fi routers, Bluetooth devices, wireless microphones, and other wireless devices.
