1. ST COA certification
ST COA is a product safety certification implemented by Malaysia Suruhanjaya Tenaga-Energy Commission. Products within the certification scope must apply for a COA (Certificate of Approvals) from the Malaysia Ministry of Energy before they can be sold in the Malaysia market.

- Send the test samples and documentation to our laboratory;
- Perform tests and issue a test report;
- Submit the test report and documentation to Suruhanjaya Tenaga-Energy Commission;
- Suruhanjaya Tenaga-Energy Commission review the test report and documentation;
- ST COA certificate will be issued if approved;
- Importer buys labels from SIRIM and affixes it.
ST COA certification is valid for 1 year. The applicant is required to complete the renewal of the COA 14 days prior to the expiration date of the certificate. The labels must be brought from SIRIM based on the actual imported or produced volume of the product.
The holder of the certificate must be a locally registered importer.
4. Pemeriksaan kilang
Generally not required. If applying for a factory certification label, then factory inspection is required.
