TELEC stands for Telecom Engineer Center, it is a registered certification body in Japan that engages in the radio equipment conformity certification service.
The TELEC certification, also known as MIC (Japan Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications) certification, is the compulsory product certification for radio equipment in Japan.

3. More about TELEC certification
There are two types of TELEC certification: test certification and type certification.
- Test certification is verification for each equipment unit, and the certification is only valid for each verified equipment unit;
- Type certification refers to the verification of samples of a batch of equipment that is also designed and manufactured. The certification is valid for the batch of equipment, but if the design or manufacturing of the equipment changes, the equipment will need to be recertified.

- One RF fixed-frequency prototype and one ordinary prototype;
- Fixed-frequency prototype are tested with multiple frequency channel product;
- If it is a single frequency channel prototype, please provide a continuous emission one.
There is no period of validity for the TELEC certification.
