- Send 2PCS of samples to an accredited laboratory for testing;
- Obtain the test report;
- Factory inspection and on-site audit by 2 to 3 Brazilian auditors;
- Auditors issue an on-site audit report;
- INMETRO review the report;
- INMETRO certificate will be issued if approved.
The validity of the INMETRO certification is based on product type. For home appliances, the INMETRO certification is valid for 3 years.
